Spooky Empire Art

Alright, listen to me. Not only was I a huge fan of Spooky Empire before I started doing artwork for the show, but the response to the things that Pete and I came up with over the years have made me the number 1 fan.

Not only have I got to do art for my favorite horror convention, I've been able to interact with some of my heroes in the process.

One of the parody shirts we did in particular was The Groovie Goolies cartoon from the 70's mashed up with the Kiss pinball glass and Corey Taylor from Slipknot was wearing it when I met him (during Covid) and Charlie Benante posted a video of him wearing it on his Instagram.

We've done a LOT of Kiss parody stuff but being able to meet Peter Criss and then later Bruce Kulick who posted our Asylum parody on his Youtube and then I later got to hang out with was friggin' amazing.

Pete and Gina at Spooky Empire have allowed be to make great art and meet just about every celebrity in horror and music I've ever wanted to meet. Absolute dream come true. Its been an amazing couple of years and I look forward to what is in the future.

"My goodness, there are a lot of skulls on here."
